Someone you know could be experiencing a mental illness or crisis. You can learn how to help them, courtesy of the Macomb County Community Mental Health (MCCMH) Team. Mental Health First Aid teaches a 5-step action plan to offer initial help to people with the signs and symptoms of a mental illness or in a crisis, and connect them with the appropriate help. Anyone can take this Mental Health First Aid course, why not you?

The deadline to register is February 4 (or sooner if all seats have been reserved). Participants must also separately pre-register at wce.macomb.edu if they wish to obtain MMII credit, however, only Dr. Groth can register individuals for the training session.
