In MMII’s continued exploration of the concepts of Intersectionality and Cultural Humility, we will explore the critical dynamic of self-reflection, decentering, accountability and truly listening with the intent to act for hope and change. At its base, cultural humility requires immersing in conversations in a way that genuinely attempts to understand a person's complex, intersecting identities related to all areas of the MMII Diversity Spectrum, including race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, exposure to a variety of social issues and much more.
