About this Event
44575 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038
Indigenous peoples have long created intricate beadwork designs for decoration and expression of tribal culture or geometric and chromatic significance. Weaving, isolating and clasping a bead bracelet or belt remains a respected skill in many modern tribes. Learn how to make a traditional Native American bracelet using a fixed loom, thread and seed beads. All materials will be provided and participants are welcomed to borrow and later return their loom to have additional, at-leisure project time.
