While veterans are receiving care in the VA hospital, the Fisher House is a home away from home for their loved ones and caregivers where they can stay free of charge. Learn how to access this resource through the VA, and how you can support Fisher House Michigan (FHM) through fundraising and community engagement. FHM supports one operational house in Ann Arbor and a house under construction in Detroit, to open in the fall of 2024.

About the Presenter: Joel Collin serves as FHM's outreach assistant, engaging with the community through in-person events, fund raising campaigns and more. Joel served in the U.S. Air Force from 2008 to 2018 and went on to graduate from the University of Michigan. Joel will be joined by a member of the Fisher House Michigan board of directors for this presentation.
