Livestream Closing Ceremony & Beacon of Light 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm; University Center 1, Lecture Hall A
We conclude Diversity Day with a celebration of friendship and community! Join our closing ceremonies in person or via live stream. Get there early to add your song request to the playlist! Enjoy fellowship and join our Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon (Macomb version) game! In 2023, Cornell University and the University of Michigan shared their ‘degrees of connection’ game for students and found that most pairs of students were only three degrees (connections) apart!
Just like the Olympic torch, MMII’s first annual Diversity Day virtual torch will be the manifestation of positive values: knowledge, life and hope, passed from one person to the next. All events are FREE and open to students, family/friends, and employees!
