The Department of Defense is increasingly screening contractors for Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI). Potential FOCI concerns arise when a foreign entity has the power to direct or influence the management and operations of a U.S. defense contractor.
This session will assist participants in:

1. Identifying potential FOCI issues associated with their current ownership, potential mergers and acquisitions or joint ventures.

2. Developing strategies to mitigate FOCI concerns and be compliant with applicable laws and regulations.

3. Establishing contract and relationship management best practices; personnel and governance policies; and financial and supply chain management tools.

quotes online, locate award information, manage post-award requests, and understand packaging and shipping requirements.

This training also covers key compliance topics such as the Buy American Act, Trade Agreements Act, cyber requirements, and Vendor Performance Evaluations (CPARS).
